All classes teach basic gymnastics skills, strength and flexibility. Instruction emphasizes technique and form since both are instrumental to safety and success when attempting intermediate skills. The children also work on socialization skills as they interact with both classmates and teachers. We emphasize goal setting as this fosters self discipline and perseverance. We separate the majority of our clases based on age, not level; each age group exercising for a time length appropriate for their age. We match children with others of like maturity in small classes allowing for maximum enjoyment and productivity.

PARENT AND TOT: 30 minutes, $45/month 
This parent/tot class is for children 12 months to 3 years old. It is a fun-filled class in which our specially trained teachers show parents the safe and proper way to spot their children.

HOT SHOTS: 60 minutes, $60/month
These classes are for girls 4 to 6 years old with a more advanced skill level. While we still maintain our fun atmosphere, the lessons tend to be a bit more structured. Most kids in this class will continue to our competitive program.

This class is designed for children in 1st and 2nd grade. At this point we separate the boys from the girls so that we can focus on the specialized skills necessary for their different events. This is a level 1 class.

What should my child wear?
Please have them wear some sort of leotard, available for purchase through Danik Gym. Clothing with zippers or buckles are not permitted. Long hair must be pulled back into a pony tail or with clips and must not have any bulky bows that may hurt the child’s head when she rolls.
